The sanctuary proper at the Coldwater First Presbyterian Church seats 500, as that filled, the croud spilled up into the balcony Wednesday night for a concert by the Roanoke College (Va.) Children's Choir, led by Kimberly Ruse Davidson, native of Coldwater and the daughter of Myrt Ruse-Obed. The world-famous choir is on a national tour.

What better way to ring in the true Christmas spirit than listening to the heavenly voices of an 250-plus choir full of dedicated eight to 18-year-old singers that train throughout the year? The Roanoke College Children's Choir and director Kim Davidson will present "Christmas Joy" at the Jefferson Center in Roanoke on Sunday, Dec. 14.

There are 270 children in the choir ranging from ages 8 to 18. They come from all over the Roanoke Valley, representing 55 different schools.
